Now you are 17 months old. These are all the things Daddy & I want to remember about you at this age.
Your most used words are - more, ball, woof woof, Dada & "the door"! You love to say 'more' all day long & it is often the first word we hear when we pick you up in the morning as you brandish an empty bottle at us!
Your favourite songs are Wind the Bobbin up & Wheels on the Bus - you know how to sign for these and frequently demand more of each all the time
Here you are demanding more wind the bobbin!
And clapping 1-2-3
If you're awake you want to be outside trying to throw the ball for sunny & nothing else will satisfy you. Sometimes even ball crazed Sunny tries to hide from you & have a rest and then you chase her around shouting at her until she gives you the ball again.
You love to dance and wiggle and really enjoy the sleeping bunnies song we do at Jo Jingles especially lying down and jumping up again- you are always the first one on your feet!
You love your new shoes that Grandma & Grandpa bought you and have shown them to everyone pointing out your "shoo shoo's", sometimes you even cry when we have to take them off. You also love your slippers & your new George pig wellies! In fact Peppa pig is your favourite tv show & you like to wiggle your shoulders & sing "pepppaaa"! You think it's very funny when Daddy Pig oinks loudly at the start.
Your favourite book is Rabbit's Nap & you know exactly who is behind each flap & you also love your singing Old McDonald book and can make all the animal noises brilliantly. Your latest favourite is Owl Babies and your favourite page is when the owl mummy comes back with a swoosh! You flap your arms & swoosh like the owl mummy.
At Grandma's house you get very excited when we pull up & squeal "ba ba" which means Grandma at the moment! You know where all your toys are kept & are very good at making us tea in your set. You also know exactly where the biscuit tin is & like to stand below it and shout "more"
You love splashing in the bath & throwing things over the side but hate having your hair washed! You especially love climbing on Daddy after bathtime & playing "earthquake" and wrestling.
When you give kisses you open your mouth very wide and give us a kiss and mummy and daddy shout "it's the best kiss in the world" which you think is very funny & might even give another one. Sometimes you try and kiss Sunny but she doesn't really care for it and tries to escape. She does like to sniff your nappy though and lick cheerios off your trousers!
You hate loud noises especially unexpected ones and are wary of new classes or people at first. But when you've decided people are safe you will happily race around & explore their cupboards.
All cars, trains & planes are choo choos and dancing is your favourite way to spend the time! You can tune the radio to most music stations and like to wiggle, dance & twirl around.
Every day you learn more and more, say more words & become increasingly delightful! We love you Gabey baby xxxx
